Memberships help fund reading and enrichment programs for children and adults at the Sargent Branch Library, new equipment and furnishings, and special services to meet the needs of the Sargent community that the City of Bay City Public Library budget cannot provide. Membership funds are also used to sponsor annual college scholarships awarded by FOSL to local Sargent residents.
